The parkinson family have been on the market since 1958 selling fish and shellfish, before that it was the shop in Victora street, grimsby. A Family business for three generations, built on a good name and good produce. Stephen is the third generation. We believe we have the best selection of fish and shellfish in the Grimsby area. First it was my Grandads, he would use the train, take fish to Newark and stand the market's. Then just after the Second World War, the first shop opened in Victoria Street, until a fire burnt it out in 1958. The business was then moved to Freeman Street market and has been there ever since, with the additional opening of Toptown market every Friday, and then the four-day a week market that is there now.
